Punjab PDWP has Approved Six Development Schemes
According to the latest update, the Punjab PDWP has approved six development schemes and projects for various districts of Punjab. As per the most recent update, six development proposals, including emergency services, sports, roads and bridges, and irrigation sectors, are listed and have been approved by the P&D (Planning and Development Committee).

As per the information, Mr. Iftikhar Ali Sahoo, the chairman of the meeting, approved several schemes worth PKR 9.54 billion. The list includes:
- A budget of PKR 784.908 million has been allocated for the Arifwala Bypass’s construction.
- The construction of the Khanewal-Lodhran Road interchange will cost PKR 2.73 million.
- The province of Punjab will invest PKR 756.851 million to upgrade emergency services throughout all districts.
- Establishment of two high-performance cricket headquarters: one in Sialkot, worth PKR 1.323 billion, and the other in Faisalabad, worth PKR 1.245 billion.
- At an estimated cost of PKR 2.663 billion, District Performance & Conveyance Efficiency-II will enhance water supply performance and conveyance efficiency by lining irrigation channels with concrete.

Meanwhile, Chairman Iftikhar Ali has just visited the development project locations for controlled access corridors from Niazi Interchange to Saggian Interchange and Saggian Interchange to Babu Sabu Interchange. During his visit, Mr. Asrar Saeed, Chief Engineer of the LDA (Lahore Development Authority), gave a status report on Babu Sabu’s large-scale projects.
