At a meeting on Sunday, Mr. Lahore Commissioner and LDA Secretary General. Muhammad Ali Randhawa highlighted the need for mobile application development. The purpose behind it is to facilitate people submitting applications online. Thus, LDA’s IT team has been given the task of developing this application as quickly as possible.
According to officials attending the meeting, many people visit LDA’s one-window cell every day to submit applications for various purposes, such as obtaining NOCs, building plans, certificates of completion and encroachment removal.

All of this wastes time and energy and promotes corruption in various departments of LDA. Therefore, these mobile applications are desperately needed to solve these problems. Moreover, Mr. Randhawa instructed LDA’s officials to appoint a permanent focus to address Housing Authority issues in single-window cells.
He also added that with the help of the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB), officers are using the E-Kihdmat app and other IT services to make the identification process easier.
