Lahore Commissioner File a Case Against Unauthorized Road Works For Encroachment

According to the latest news, Lahore Commissioner M. Ali has instructed the relevant departments via Twitter to file a case against unauthorized roadworks and services without obtaining a NOC. Additionally, a two-day notice has been issued to clear the encroachment on the remaining commercial buildings.

According to the report, Punjab Safe City and the courts have created a joint platform to maintain timely supervision of roads. The purpose of building the platform is to strictly prevent further unauthorized operations on roads and service lanes.

M. Ali added that it is important to ensure that any work on public roads or properties is carried out in accordance with regulatory and legal requirements. Also said that any violations will have serious consequences.
