Balochistan Professional Health Care and Medical Education Minister Noor ul Haq Baloch said the government will expand the 50-bed Gwadar Hospital into a 150-bed state-of-the-art medical center to ensure the best medical facilities for people.

Gwadar Hospital will expand to 150 beds in the first phase and 300 beds in the second phase, the secretary expressed this view while visiting the hospital.
He said the government has allocated a grant of Rs 17 million to hospitals to provide medical facilities to local residents in the fight against the Covid-19 outbreak.
He said support in the form of equipment will enhance hospitals' overall service delivery and improve the health care facilities provided to the population. Also said the vaccination process must be expedited and the area's testing capacity for emergencies must be strengthened.
Noor ul Haq Baloch said that by providing health cards to the public in Balochistan, they will be able to get free, quality medical care at local health facilities.
