News sources reported that management have set up 4,145 state lands to develop affordable housing in the area. According to information, these seven locations have been designated by the authority in the housing projects under the Naya Pakistan Housing Program (NPHP).
The total lands included 1,000 Kanals in Mohlanwal-1, 2,000 Kanals in Mohlanwal-2, 1,000 Kanals in Kamahan, 54 Kanals in Harbanspura-1, 26 Kanals in Harbanspura-2, and 30 Kanals in Thokar Niaz Beg-1 and 35 Kanals in Thokar Niaz Beg-2.
Land designated for NPHP development is owned by the Liquidation Board and the Chief Settlement Commission. The department will responsible for initiates the land acquisition process with the approval of the Chief Minister of Punjab (CM) Usman Buzdar.
