Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Realtors of all LDA registered schemes are approved by the LDA (Lahore Development Authority). Under the SOP, all real estate agents are registered with the LDA to prevent illegal and fraudulent activity within the jurisdiction of the authorities.

As per the updates, the government party held a meeting at the LDA Head Office in Johar Town, which was conducted by Vice-President (VC) Naeem-ul-Haq and many other senior members of other departments also attended the meeting. They decided to improve LDA's digital organization to provide better service to the public.

The action to be taken is the approval of the LDA Joint Venture (JV) Regulation Act 2022, followed by the approval of the digitization and automation of the LDA and the reorganization of the LDA Plot Auction Committee, which will include members of the government. At the meeting, it was decided to hand over the Master Plan 2050 to the audit committee and re-submit it to the governing body by notice.
