LDA allows for high-rise development on newly commercialized roads.  

Approval for the construction of high-rise buildings on roads and highways has been granted by the Lahore Development Authority. The government will allow multi-story high-rise buildings on commercial roads under the new regulations.

Authorities have banned the construction of warehouses, wholesale markets and loading docks on commercial highways. The stated road only hosts multi-story buildings, subject to the following rules:

Raiwind Road

• The four Kanal Plots could include ground and six-story buildings.
• A plot of 10 Marla can have both ground and four-story buildings.

Maulana Shaukat Ali Road Khayaban e Jinnah

• A 4 Kanal plot can have ground and 6 floors.

Bypass Johar Town

A plot of 4 or more Kanal can have both ground and 10-story buildings.
